Vice President/Chief Legal Officer

Shahina is a founding member of De Lune Corp and serves as Vice President/Chief Legal Officer. In this role, she oversees all legal aspects of De Lune Corp’s solutions and services including ethics and compliance and advises on decisions across the company’s operations. She leverages law, policy and technology to strengthen De Lune Corp’s offerings, ensuring the delivery of excellent service founded on trust.  She is responsible for cross-functional collaboration among legal, IT and cyber security which is increasingly viewed in terms of regulatory compliance and ethics related to privacy of customer and organizational data. Shahina also advises on and develops contracts and guidance.

She has worked at elite and global institutions such as the World Bank, UNHCR, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the Center for Reproductive Rights, NY. She counts experience in project development and management, securing funding and research and advocacy.

Shahina holds an LLM from Columbia Law School where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and received the Columbia Law School Human Rights Fellowship in 2006 and Parker School Certification in International Law. She is also a Fulbright Scholar and received her bar admission from the State of New York in 2011.
