Real time vehicle information

Location Tracking: Vehicle location is displayed on Google Maps in an interactive manner. Multiple vehicles can be viewed on the map at the same time. Accuracy of the vehicle location is within 5 meters. Map view can be switched between standard map view and satellite map view.

Dashboard : Dashboard view of the fleet Entire fleet status is displayed in a dashboard view which can be taken into a large LED/LCD display. This view has the information such as, vehicle number, current location, engine on/off status, speed. Ideal addition for the fleet control room. The dashboard also provide the ability to sort vehicles based on their idle time after completing a job/hire.

Movement Tracking: Selected vehicle is displayed on Google Maps with its real movements with speed meter, fuel meter and battery level. Map view can be switched between standard map view and satellite map view.

Driving Directions

Driving directions from a particular vehicle to a destination can be generated from the system. The auto- generated directions can be modified by dragging the blue path line onto the desired route. The system will also indicate the distance and the approximate time it would take to reach the destination.

Fuel Monitoring

Live monitoring of vehicle fuel level, and alerts on sudden drop in fuel level. The system also provides a report on fuel consumption performance for each vehicle in the system.

Vehicle path history playback

A facility to playback vehicle movements during a specified time period where a manager could analyze its movement history.

Geofence Monitoring

Geo-fence is a logical boundary defined on Google Maps by the user. The user can geo-fence an area, a location and/or a route. A geo-fence can be associated with any number of vehicles in the fleet and any vehicle can be linked to any number of geo-fences, whilst these associations can be modified or revised at any time. Restrictions such as no-exit, no-stop, no-entry of a vehicle in relation to a geo- fence can be executed in the system with alerts being sent when violations are detected. The entry and the exit times to and from a geo-fence are recorded and can be reported within a framework of performance indicators.

Fleet Scheduling

The fleet scheduling module provides the functionality to plan, schedule and monitor deliveries to be made by the vehicle fleet. Based on the destinations to which the deliveries have to be made, the scheduled start and end times and the predetermined/geo-fenced routes have to be entered into the system. The system generates alerts and reports of deviations from delivery schedules and routes. A management dashboard provides a perspective of the current status of scheduled deliveries and the fleet in real-time.

SOS

In an emergency , the vehicle driver can press the SOS button, alerting an emergency response team. The vehicle location information allows the rescue team to quickly locate the vehicle.
